So it has been awhile....

and here we are. We are really no closer to getting rid of the hacker scourge within the SFCO community, in fact I believe the problem is gettng worse. They are coming out of the wood work. The newest public enemy of Vox is xXBigbendXx. He states, without question that he is out to ruin everybody's fun. He wants to bring the entire game crashing down. He is the worst example of a hacker this game has seen, with the exeption of Medius1337.
There are others as well. Who_Is_You is handing out codes onthe message board, and not small ones either.
There are so many other to list them all would be immpossible. So not to sound mellodramatic, but we are staniding on the brink of the precipice. One more step and we go over the edge never to return.
Vox stands in front of this onslaught, plotting and planning ways to end this wave of cheaters, and nere' do wells, and instead of help and assistance, we get called hackers ourselves. If this is how it must be, then so be it. We have our allies, and we have our enemies, but we will not stop the fight, no matter what.
As stated, Vox can hack, or at least I can, but only do so against those that woud destroy the fun for everyone.
I have said this before but feel it must be said again. If we do not unite against the hackers we WILL LOSE THIS FGHT. So I call for '"good" hackers, and non hackers to join the cause together. We cannot fight it alone, and we are becoming weary. Click the forum button, and join our form. Post that you are behind our cause and if you can hack or not. We are willing to make branch cells and unite everyone under the Vox flag, whatever it takes but we need to do something, we are NOT winning, and it is only getting worse.

As always...

Viva Vox!

To set the record straight.....

I am, in fact, a hack. I am not ashamed of it and I am not going to sit here and defend my views. I must, however, explain how I can hack in a self-proclaimed anti- hacker cell such as Vox. That is not a bad question, but it is not a good question either.

How do you stop a hack from kicking you from a game that you are hosting, and not compromise your teams as you like them? Easy , with "anti-kick". How many non hackers out there have anti kick?

If you are in a game and you find some one is using a 1 shot kill M16, what do you do? You give it back to them, twice as hard. You hit them so fast and so hard they do not even see it coming. You even the odds. You eliminate the problem. Any non hackers out there can do that?

I can do both those things, and much, much more.

I can stop hacks in their tracks, and make them think twice about doing it again when they see me. If I am in your game and there are no hacks, no problem, I do not hack if I do not HAVE to. If there is hacker, and I am there I will take care of it, on either team.

My last post listed some steps to take to help fight hackers, if you are a non-hacker yourself. I still stand by those steps, and believe you should know some self defence. So read the post and get what you can out of it.

Do not get me wrong, if a couple of hacks want to get together and hack the crap out of each other that is fine. If you enter a game hosted by hacks and they tell you they are going to hack, and you do not leave, it is your problem not theirs. Believe it or not, they have rights too. I stand solely against hackers taking advantage of the other players, and those out to ruin other players enjoyment of the game.

Co-existence is possible, as long as there are a set of rules everyone follows. Vox is going to set up those rules, and violators WILL be prosecuted.

I am Vox and will not tolerate the dismantling of our SFCO community by hackers.

I am Vox and will fight against cheating of any type.

I am Vox and believe each payer should be able to play the game on their own terms, not be forced to play on someone else's.

I am Vox and I proclaim the day of the hacker has come to an end.

So here we are.....

The war is in the begining stages, the hackers are just begining to feel the assault fromVox and it's allies. They are no longer free to do as they please with impunity. Lead by V_De_Vendetta Vox has harrassed and harranged those it could uncover most of the weekend.

In addition there have been several other players online that have been joining the cause outside of Vox's influence. It sees this may be starting to catch on, and it is about time. No loger can the huddled masses hide behind the "What can we do about it?" defence. Vox is leading the charge, but the non-Voxers can aid in the battle as well...some useful tips...

1) Once you identify the hacker for watever reason add him to your ignore list as soon as possible. Check this list everytime you log on. If anyone from that list joins your game kick them right away, but be vigilant. These hacks can enter games they have been kicked from, so if you kick them start as soon as possible. I usually wait until the teams are unbalanced with the hacker being on the over staffed side, kik him and start imediatley. This usually works.

2) The above method will also work for those who kick the Host from the game, but if they seem to be too fast for you....make the game a forced rank game. They can't kick anyone from those games. You may not get the team you want, and the hacker may actually be in the game, but you get to play. If they are out of control...do not quit during either round, in SAB, TDM or RET. Quit during that period between rounds where everyone can re-asess the situation. If your entire team quits then, the game ends, and no one gets XP. So you may not get it, but the hacker is not rewarded for their cheating either.

3) There are folks out there that can kick people from forced rank games, these are few and far between, but they exist. If that is happening, then you are truly in trouble, especialy if it seems they want to do this to every game anyone starts. These people are very poor, sad individuals. They are the type you hear are never happy, and they cannot tolerate anyone else being happy either. SO they spend their Fridays nights not going out, and not hanging with friends, and not even paying the game. Instead they have nothing better to do than make others miserable. All you can realy do here is wait. They will either get bored or join a game soon enough. If you happen to notice a member of Vox is on, contact them they will help you out with their own strategy.

Well I hope this post has been helpful, and as always.......Viva Vox!!!!

The Brink of War

Good Afternoon to all Vox Populi members and Allies.

The hour is at hand, the war is about to begin. We have made alliances with those we believe will assist us, not only for their own gain, but for the good of the cause. The weapons are at hand, and the first shot is soon to be fired.

The hackers days are numbered and we are only going to get more resiliant to the encrochment of the enemy.

I have said this before and I will say it again. We cannot wait for Sony to step up and handle the hacker problem, as they have shown they will not.

So it is up to us.

We will, and now we can.

Well, Well, Well,

Isn't this a pleasant surprise. I am sorry for all of the confusion with this blog/forum thing but i had concerns about some security features and wanted to be sure it was safe for our members. The service that offers the forum has advised me that I have nothing to worry about, it is secure. I for one in glad to be back on blogspot, and the regular forum. I like the simplicity of this page, and the ease of use of the forum.

I appreciate all of your patiaence in this matter and again I apologze for the confusion.

Remeber to get our new site address out to the masses www.fearus.info.
